God, I'm sore today. I think I may have over done it this weekend with some of my activities. All my muscles in my body are hurting. My arms, legs, chest and stomach, even my butt hurts. I don't think there's a single muscle in my body that doesn't feel sore right now.
Saturday I spent the day making a HUGE pile of firewood out in the backyard (which fell apart several times and had me starting over). And then Sunday night I went bowling with George, JC and his girlfriend in Modesto for an entire night. Toss in a heavy duty garage cleaning and a couple hours of working out for both days and you get one sore-ass body. Arg. Bowling was alot of fun though. We've decided we're going to go every Sunday night from here on out. If I really start getting into it, I may have a pair of custom bowling balls made: One of the Moon and the other of the Earth. :D
Last night at work was really hard since Mark didn't show up. Jenny and I wound up having to abandon our pack-down duties to work all his freight (which sucked because he got slammed with stuff, but hey, what can you do?). During our break, Jenny and I were tossing around the idea of maybe taking a photography class together. She's really starting to take an interest in it now that she actually owns a camera and can't stop snapping pictures of things with it. I think she'd be really good if she actually decides to do it, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Jenny has a nasty habit of changing her mind about things quickly. But, if she actually goes through with it, I'll more than likely do it with her.
Weather wise, we're finally starting to get some rain here in the valley. A wonderful break from the terrible heat of this past summer. I love how you can smell the "clean" of everything when you go outside now. It's already putting me in the mood to draw and write. I've done a truckload of scribbles now for deviantART, but I'm being overly picky about which ones I wanna upload. Recently I've done several different character scribbles based on haleyluna. I'm trying to settle on which one I wanna stick with. That's the way it works with me and characters made from real people. I have to draw them over and over again exaggerating different things before I can come up with something that truly reflects a familiar likeness (and Haley just happens to have alot of neat things about her worth exaggerating, haha). I've also done a collage of my co-workers as animals they remind me of. And I have another idea to re-creative some of my real friends here as super heros and super villains. Hehe. Yeah, it's fun being a nerd. Imagination rules! :}
On a completely separate note, as of today, I've gained 14 and a half pounds since returning from Hawaii in June, thanks to a steady workout plan and better eating habits. I can finally look at myself in the mirror now without seeing a frail, tired looking boy staring back at me. It's working... This and everything else I saw wrong with myself. It's all getting fixed. Slowly, but surely... :}
